The
most challenging of all religion based ideas worthy of consideration by
modern day scientists, apart from evaluating their health benefits, are the
so-called Psychic Phenomena, Hinduism’s Cyclical Cosmology and the theory of
Reincarnation which it shares with Buddhism and ancient Platonism as well
with some differences. Carefully designed studies of Psychic Phenomena may
unravel communication channels hitherto unknown to science. The other two
issues are relevant to science because they are but much broader extensions
of the numerous cyclical and recycling processes observed throughout the
living and the non-living world within the context of associated cause and
effect relationships. |
