Ayush Goyal is pursuing a PhD at the University of Oxford in AI (Artificial Intelligence) Modelling of Biological Systems. He has won a £30,000/year (Rs. 24 lakh / year) Clarendon Scholarship for his doctoral research. His research interests include Human versus Computer Cognition, Ethics of Computer Chip Implantation in Human Subjects, Social Repercussions of Genomic Engineering, and Distinguishing Humans from Computers in the Bionic Era. Goyal is working with the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, which provides an excellent association of scholars and experts in the fields of ethics, theology, and philosophy, which Goyal wishes to bridge with the world of computer science to tackle ethical issues in technological applications.

Mishra, Chairman AISSQ-2007:  At the age of 11 years, Ayush joined Boise State University, Idaho, USA, and he graduated with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at age of 17 in May 2005 with a Perfect Grade Point Average (GPA): 4.0 (on a scale of 4.0). He has won 30,000 GBP / year scholarship to pursue PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Philosophy of Information Technology at Oxford, the prestigious university where Indira Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, greatest scientist Stephen Hawking, inventor of world wide web Tim Berners-Lee studied. Ayush has received certificate of Introduction to Philosophy from the  Department for Continuing Education, Oxford University. He received  Bhakti Sastri Degree at the age 15, awarded by International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in Sept. 2002. The Bhakti Sastri Degree encompasses the detailed study of four ancient Indian Vedic classical texts - Bhagavasd Gita, Ishopanishad, Upadeshamrta, and Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu written in Sanskrit. He had memorized 108 verses of Bhagavad-Gita at the age of 8 years.
