Ramgopal Uppaluri is presently Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering Department at IIT Guwahati. He received his PhD from University of Manchester, England
majoring on process systems engineering and optimization. He received his Masters degree in Chemical Engineering
from IIT Kanpur. Presently, he is also designated at
Chairman, Technical Board at IIT Guwahati, where he has bas been instrumental
to launch the first Intranet Campus Radio among IITs
for driving student interaction towards excellence. His
research interests in the field of science and spirituality include time
dimension, origin of life, thermodynamics, aging and death, biotechnology and
bioethics.
