Subhag Swami

Born in Kolkata, His Holiness Subhag Swami received graduate degree from the University of Calcutta.   He joined International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1971.  To date, Subhag Swami has translated many books written by Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder Acharya of ISKCON from English to Bengali including Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Teachings of Lord Kapila, Prayers to Queen Kunti, Easy Journey to Other Planets, Matchless Gifts, Teachings of Lord Caitanya, Isopanishad, Nectar of Instruction and On the way to Krsna.  Subhag Swami also translated Caitanya Mangala from Bengali to English, a popular book among followers of Bhaktivedanta theological tradition.   He is presently working on translation of Ananda Vrndavan Campu written by Srila Kavi Karnapura from Sanskrit to English.

 

His Holiness Subhag Swami is one of the senior  most monks (sannyasis) of ISKCON and stays at Mayapur, West Begal, India.
